As a fruit bowl on your counter, or as a salad or pasta bowl that’s passed around your next family-style meal, this stunning walnut bowl with its wide brass inlay will make a statement anywhere. Do not put it in the dishwasher. Wash with soap and water and dry thoroughly before putting it away.

This handmade bowl is so naturally gorgeous and versatile. You can use it to serve salad or pasta, or to pass fresh-baked bread. Its simple beauty makes it the perfect base for a display of fresh fruit or other beautiful things, and while it is large enough to hold a substantial volume, it is small enough that it will not be heavy or cumbersome as it makes its rounds at your table.

The Malia Bowl is handcrafted from natural Ankole cow horn through an artful process of softening, shaping and buffing the organic material into free form shaped one-of-a-kind bowls that showcase the exquisite beauty of the horn’s natural color variations. Meaning “queen” in Swahili, the Malia is a treasured service piece for a tablescape or purely an object of adoration.

It is the finishing touch that defines the table. Crafted from richly varied natural Ankole horn, each Nafasi Napkin Ring reveals its own interplay of light and dark, making every setting unique and spirited with understated elegance.

These are more than just dessert plates, they're a celebration of delicate, graceful strength, highlighted by the intricate, vein-like details of the 24K gold embellishments on each fine porcelain plate. Just like the lily pad flips to reveal its powerful structure, these plates invite us to look beyond the surface and appreciate the strength that lies within.

Each plate measures a generous 8.75 inches, offering ample space for a lovely torte, a slice of cheesecake, or a selection of fresh fruits and cheeses. And you don't have to use them only for dessert. I love to set them out with finger foods at a cocktail party, and I've even used them as salad plates!
